LARKANA: Sindh Peoples Students Federation took out protest
rally against Imran Khan and Qazi Hussain Ahmed for torching
the portrait of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto in Rawalipindi.
The protest rally started from Kandy Market and marched through
the various roads of the city and culminated at Jinnah Bagh
Chowk.
Addressing on the occasion, the President of SPSF, Abdul Ghani
Jatoi, Mazhar Ali Shahani, Abdul Ghani Malano, Abid Laghari
and others chanted slogans against Imran Khan and Qazi Hussain
Ahmed and burnt their posters. They demanded of the concerned
authorities to take stern action against them, otherwise,
they threatened to enlarge their protest level.

The Acting Taluka Nazim Yasir Junejo after assuming his charge
accompanied by the council members and party workers visited
Garhi Khuda Bux and laid floral wreaths over the grave of
Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto,
Mir Murtaza Bhutto and Shahnawaz Bhutto and offered “Fateha”.
On the occasion, he vowed to accomplish the mission of Shaheed
Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto and her dream will be fulfilled at
any cost.
Deedar Hussain Ghanghro
gunned down
General Secretary of PML-N District Larkana was gunned down
by unidentified armed men at Ratodero.
According to the details, General Secretary PML-N District
Larkana, Deedar Hussain Ghanghro was shot dead by some unidentified
armed men in Ratodero city, when he was traveling in his car.
The dead body of the deceased was handed over to his heirs
after conducting autopsy. No case of the incident was lodged
till filing of this news report.
Pen down strike observed
The employees of Population Department Larkana observed a
pen down strike and held a protest demonstration outside the
district population office for the acceptance of their demands.
On the occasion, APCA President, Peeral Dayo demanded of the
government to approve 50% quota for heirs of the deceased
and retired employees and to regularize the entire contract
base according to PM announcement.
DBA lauds Zardari for
resorting 8 judges of SHC
The District Bar Association Larkana convened a meeting of
the managing committee at Larkana on Friday. The meeting was
attended by a large number of the members of the bar. Addressing
on the occasion, the Vice President District Bar Association,
Qadir Bux Bhatti, General Secretary Hamid Bhurgri, Syed Abdul
Rashid Shah, unanimously passed resolution in which they congratulated
PPP Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari for restoring 8 deposed Judges
of Sindh High Court.
Dr. Khalid Mehmood condemns statements of Syed Khurshed Ahmed
Shah
The General Secretary of Jamiat Ulma-e-Islam and the Senator,
Dr. Khalid Mehmood Soomro expressed regret over statements
of the Federal Minister, Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah, in which
he said that the conditions of Maulana Fazalur Rehman are
not under consideration, he termed it as deplorable act.
He said that he dosen’t know to whom Syed Khursheed
Ahmed Shah is serving. This he stated while talking to the
media men, before his departure from Karachi airport to Saudi
Arabia to perform Umrah.
He further said that conditions, which were presented by JUI
leadership, were accepted by Government. Thats why Syed Khursheed
Shah should have to realize the importance of his statements.
Dr. Khalid Mehmood Soomro demanded from the Government to
take notice of such statements and make him refrain from controversial
statements, otherwise JUI reserves right to make any decision. |
