LARKANA: The Gul Hayat Institute has been established at
village, Khair Muhammad Arija near Moen-Jo-Daro by a man
namely, Dr. Dur Muhammad Pathan. While talking to newsmen,
Dr. Dur Muhammad Pathan said that he has established the
Gul Hayat Institute to preserve the national heritages.
He said that the institute has collected the history of
three hundred personalities of Pakistan including, Sir Shahnawaz
Khan Bhutto, Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto,
Asif Ali Zardari, Yousif Raza Gillani, Shah Mehmood Qureshi,
Shaikh Rafique, Salman Taseer, Saeed Awan, Ahmed Mukhtar,
Aitzaz Ahsan, Amanullah Kundi, Fakhar Zaman, Jehangir Badar,
Nasirullah Babar, Syed Abdullah Shah, Makhdoom Amin Fahim,
Khursheed Ahmed Shah, Makhdoom Jamil-uz-Zaman, Aftab Shuban
Mirani, Ghulam Qadir Palejo, Iqbal Haider, Kamal Azfar,
Manzoor Wassan, Nabil Gabol, Nadir Magsi, Nisar Khuhro,
Rashid Rabbani, Agha Siraj Durrani, Taj Haider, Yousif Talpur
and others. In the institute the visitors can find the writings
of those personalities and various things used by them.
The preserved valuables will help the new generation to
understand the mission of the great leaders of Pakistan.

The PPP MNA, Nazir Ahmed Bughio and former MNA, Hizbullah
Bughio while talking to newsmen at village, Mehmood Channa
on Sunday said that the Pakistan Government has handled
the case of Mumbai attacks very well. They added that Pakistan
Government is taking steps to enquire the matter and very
soon the facts will be disclosed.
On the occasion, Muhammad Ali Bughio, Ali Gohar Bughio,
Sardar Zohaib Khan Bughio, Ahmed Ali Kalhoro and others
were also present.

SSC-Part-II
Supplementary exams result
The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE)
Larkana announced the result of Secondary School Certificate
(SSC) Part-II (Class-X) Supplementary Examinations-2008,
Science and General Groups on Sunday. The pass percentage
remained 86.3 of the Science Group and 63.15 percent of
General Group. The BISE Larkana covers Larkana, Kamber-Shahdadkot,
Shikarpur, Jacobabad, Kashmore-Kandhkot districts and two
talukas, Khairpur Nathan Shah and Meher.
According to the statistical data issued by the Controller
BISE Larkana, Professor Rasheed Ahmed Khoso, all the 1046
registered candidates(933 boys and 113 girls) appeared in
the Supplementary examinations-2008 in Science Group. The
total number of candidates who passed the SSC Part-II Supplementary
Examination was 903 (805 boys and 98 girls) candidates in
Science Group.
In Science group, A-1 grade was obtained by 02 candidates,
A grade was secured by 70 (58 boys and 12 girl); B grade
was secured by 287 (249 boys and 38 girls); C grade was
secured by 464 (424 boys and 20 girls); D grade was obtained
by 80 (72 boys and 08 girl), whereas 105 candidates failed.
Woman commits suicide
A woman namely, Nusrat Abro w/o Karim Bux Abro committed
suicide on Sunday at village, Shabir Ahmed Junejo by consuming
poison over a domestic problem. The body of the deceased
was handed over to her heirs after conducting autopsy from
CMC Hospital Larkana.
