BISE establishes booth
in Shikarpur to facilitate students |

LARKANA: The Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education
Larkana has notified for the general information of all concerned
that the BISE Larkana has opened the Service Booth at Shikarpur
to facilitate the students. In this connection the facilities
will be provided included examination forms of all categories
examination conducted by BISE Larkana will be provided through
DD/ Bank Challan paid at HBL Main Branch Shikarpur and same
will be collected at BISE Booth Shikarpur, marks and pass
certificates will be provided on the same day and its prescribed
fees should be deposited in the shape of challan which can
be had from HBL Main Branch Shikarpur up to 12.00 Noon, enrollment
forms of each category will be provided through HBL Main Branch
Shikarpur on deposition of its prescribed fees in shape of
DD/ Challan and same be collected at BISE Booth Shikarpur.
Migration certificate will be provided within three days from
the date submission of required documents at BISE Booth Shikarpur,
eligibility and transfer certificates can not be provided
at BISE Booth Shikarpur due to their nature of required codal
formalities for which candidates will approach/ come in person
to BISE Larkana. All the examination slips of candidates will
be dispatched to their concerned institutions from BISE Larkana
and all kinds of bills i.e. remuneration/ TA/ DA etc. can
be submitted at BISE Booth Shikarpur, the notification added.
Provision of justice
demanded
Young, Afsana Chandio along with her mother, Husna Chandio
reached at the DIG office Larkana to lodge her complain against
her husband, Zameer Phulpoto and her father-in –law,
Khadim Phulpoto. On the occasion, Afsana Chandio informed
to the DIG that some days back her mother came to Kamber from
Larkana to offer her condolence with the relatives of her
husband and her father-in-law, who allegedly raped her and
subjected her to torture. Afsana Chandio demnded of the DIG
for the arrest of the culprits and provide them justice.
Tailors demand increment in their wages
The Tailors Union recorded their protest demonstration for
increase in their wages per dress up to Rs. 120. On the occasion,
President Tailor Association, Syed Zakir Shah, General Secretary
Mukhtiar Ali Mahessar, Zameer Chawro, Barkat Solangi, Sikandar
Memon others said that the shop owner are getting Rs. 250
to 300 per dress from the customers, whereas the tailors are
being paid lesser wages. The protesting tailors demanded of
the Government to increase their wages up to Rs. 120 otherwise
they will enlarge their protest level.
DCO vows to provide cheques to deserving people
The District Coordination Officer Larkana, Abdul Aziz Uqaili
while speaking at his office on Wednesday said that 13400
Mustahikeens will be provided an amount of Rs.3000/- (Rupees
three thousand only) each out of which 10194 Mustahikeens
were verified accordingly and remaining 3290 Mustahikeens
were being verified by NADRA from old list. Besides, more
than 5000 Mustahikeens were also reconsidered for providing
financial aid under Food Support Programme in this regard
an amount of Rs.55 million was received for district Larkana
from the Federal Government. The Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal Office
Larkana announced a schedule to disburse the amount to the
Mustahikeen in the district. According to schedule the distribution
work will be started from August 21 to 23, 2008 at Mukhtiarkar
Office Ratodero from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm., at Mukhtiarkar Office
Larkana from August 25 to 27, 2008 from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm.,
at Mukhtiarkar Office Bakrani from August 28 to 30, 2008 and
at Mukhtiarkar Office Dokri form September 01 to 03, 2008.
The DCO said that to receive Food Support Card the concerned
Mustahikeen should bring with him his own NIC and two passport
size photographs.
Condolence meeting held
A condolence meeting was held on Wednesday under the chair
of the Regional Director Information Larkana, Gul Hassan Arbani.
The condolence meeting was attended by all staff members and
Information Officer Larkana. The meeting expressed its deep
sorrows and grief over the death of senior journalist of Larkana,
Late Muhammad Moosa Brohi and prayed to Almighty Allah to
rest the departed soul in eternal peace. |
