KARACHI: Advisor to the CM Sindh Waqas Malik has said that
accused Dr Abdul Jabbar and his accomplices who were involved
in the gang rape of nurse Magdalene would be brought to
justice. He inquired about the health of the rapevictim
and presented her a bouquet and ensured her of financial
assistance. He said the involved hidden accused would also
be uncovered through media. On the occasion he assured the
victim of all out assistance. He said the nurses should
not take to protests as it would create hardships for patients.
On the occasion, he was accompanied by PPP District South
Information Secretary Hameeda Khoso and Peoples Para-medical
President Sindh Suleman Memon. Besides Mr Malik, Sindh Minister
for Minority Affairs, Dr Mohan Lal Kohistani also inquired
about the health of the gang raped nurse and presented her
a check for Rs100,000 in assistance. He was accompanied
by MPAs Petambar Sewani, Saleem Khurshid Khokhar, and Director
for Minority Affair, Mr Khadim Hussain. |
