  PPP warns against conspiracies and vows
to complete tenure

KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples Party, Sindh on Tuesday warned against conspiracies being hatched by anti- democratic forces to destabilize democratic government and vowed PPP would complete its constitutional term.
Sindh PPP Secretary General Nafees Siddiqi at news conference here Tuesday told opponents not to consider PPP as ``weak. We are a major democratic political force in the country due to philosophy late ZA Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto who along with thousands of workers sacrificed their lives for democracy.’’
On decisions of Sindh Council meeting chaired by Provincial Chief Syed Qaim Ali Shah, he said it decided to organize rallies in every district on November 30 on PPP’s 41st Foundation Day. PPP Karachi will hold big public meeting in Nishtar Park on that day.
Nafees Siddiqi who heads organization committee said PPP will observe mourning from December 1 to 27 to acknowledge sacrifice of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto. Seminars, workshops would be held. He said Sindh PPP will organize main function of Benazir Bhutto’s first death anniversary in Ghari Khuda Bux. Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah will launch land distribution among poor women haris on 25 November. ``We are working to fullfil commitments made by Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto to people, reinstated thousands of employees, provided large number of jobs and homes to poor and middle class people.’’ Political reconciliation was doctrine of Benazir Bhutto and PPP was working on these lines.
PPP Sindh Council by resolutions paid tributes to services of Benazir Bhutto for party, democracy and country. It expressed full confidence in leadership of Asif Ali Zardari and appreciated Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani for canceling privatization of Qadirpur Gas field and felt there was no justification for protest now on this issues.
