HYDERABAD: The citizens of Hyderabad held a protest demonstration
against prolonged power outages and acute drinking water
shortage outside the Hyderabad Press Club on Friday.
According to the details, the citizens of Hyderabad of different
localities including, Pathan Colony, Sabzi Mandi, Hali Road,
Sahrish Nagar and other localities held protest demonstration
against the acute drinking water shortage and prolonged
power outage.
Addressing on the occasion, the protesting persons said
that their lives have become miserable due to acute drinking
water shortage and prolonged power outage.
On the occasion, they demanded of the concerned authorities
to take the immediate notice of the matter, otherwise, they
threatened to enlarge their protest level.
Sacked office-bearers of PPP demand their reinstatement
The sacked office bearers of Pakistan Peoples Party including,
Amir Zardari and his wife, Sheba Zardari observed hunger
strike for their reinstatement outside the Hyderabad Press
Club on Friday.
Talking to the media men, they demanded of the party leadership
for their immediate reinstatement, otherwise, they threatened
to continue their hunger strike till death.
