KARACHI: A fresh FIR in connection with the
deadly Karsaz blast that occurred on October 18, 2007 has
been lodged, said Capital City Police Officer (CCPO).
The blast ripped through the cheering crowd that turned up
to welcome Chairperson Pakistan People’s Party Benazir
Bhutto when she returned to Karachi after 8 years of self
imposed exile. The statement of the slain leader has been
included in the FIR.
According to CCPO, that Ms Bhutto mentioned three names –
Chaudhry Pervez Elahi, Ejaz Shah and Hameed Gul – as
prime suspects who could be involved in her assassination
