ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister of Afghanistan
Dr. Rangin Dadfar Spanta will visit Islamabad on 22nd October
while Deputy Chairman, Jirga Monitoring Commission of Afghanistan,
Farooq Wardak will visit Pakistan on 20th October.
During his stay in Islamabad the Afghan Foreign Minister will
hold talks with Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi.
Qureshi will also host a lunch for Spanta. The Afghan Foreign
Minister will also call on the Prime Minister. Afghan Foreign
Minister is also expected to meet the President, Speaker National
Assembly, Advisor to the Prime Minister on Interior and the
National Security Advisor of Pakistan. Meanwhile Deputy Chairman,
Jirga Monitoring Commission of Afghanistan, Farooq Wardak
will visit Pakistan on 20th October. He will discuss the draft
agenda and other details of the Jirga-gai with the Governor
NWFP Owais Ghani, who is Chairman of the Pakistani component
of the Jirga Commission. Pakistan-Afghanistan Jirga-gai (mini-Jirga)
will be held in Islamabad on 27-28 October 2008.—Agencies |
