THATTA: The differences between PPP leaders and DPO Thatta,
Sultan Ahmed Khuwaja have intensified. In this regard a
meeting of the PPP leaders was held at Circuit House Thatta
on Monday under the chair of its District President, Wazir
Ahmed Memon.
Addressing on the occasion, the participants demanded of
the Chief Minister of Sindh, Syed Qaim Ali Shah to transfer
the DPO Thatta, Sultan Ahmed Khuwaja, otherwise they threatened
to start a protest movement.
Meanwhile, the DPO Thatta while talking to RT said that
he has taken many steps to control the law and order situation
in the district and due to which eighty percent crime rate
has been decreased. The DPO added that he will continue
services for the masses according to laws of the state.
He further said that very soon a press conference will be
addressed by him in which he will brief the journalists
about his performance.
