LARKANA: Federal Minister for Youth Affairs Shahid Hussain
Bhutto, has said that the mission of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto
will be completed at any cost and we believe in serving
the poor people without any discrimination. He said this
while talking to the media-men after visit to the Mazar
of martyrs of Bhutto family, at Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto.
Shahid Hussain Bhutto also said the Federal Cabinet has
approved re-instatement of ten thousand employees who were
appointed during 1993 to 1996 and were removed from the
service in 1999. He said the mission of Shaheed Benazir
Bhutto will be completed at any cost. Federal Minister for
Youth Affairs said the present government is taking concrete
steps to provide job opportunities to the educated youth
and in this regard long term and short term programmes have
been started. He added in this regard Shaheed Benazir Bhutto
Youth Development Programme has been started in which 40
thousand people will be provided trainings in different
trades throughout the province and an amount of Rs 4,000/
to 7,000/- as stipend will be provided to the trainees during
the training period. He said ten thousand educated youths
are being provided training in different trades and the
trained and educated youths will be sent abroad for reasonable
job opportunities which was the dream of Shaheed Benazir
Bhutto. Besides houses will be provided to the poor people
and 35 lac people will be benefited through Shaheed Benazir
Bhutto Food Support Programme, he added. The Minister also
said the government land will be allotted to the land-less
haris, specially female haris and the party manifesto will
be implemented in letter and spirit. Replying to a query,
he said the Thar Coal Project was restored with the assistance
of World Bank and the work on the project of Keti Bandar
will be started in a proper way in due course of time. He
said the credit for permission to the exiled politicians
to come back to the country goes to Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir
Bhutto. Shahid Hussain Bhutto also said the PPP government
never compromises with its principles and it always served
the people without any discrimination. He said Larkana district
would be given priority in development projects which is
the right of people of the area. Referring to NFC Award,
he said the previous government worked in this regard against
the wishes of the people and we are of the view that all
the four provinces should be given their due share. He said
to serve the people of the country is the main theme of
PPP government. Earlier, when Federal Minister Shahid Hussain
Bhutto arrived at Moenjodaro Airport late Friday evening,
a rousing reception was given to him by a large number of
people and leaders of PPP Larkana. He was taken in a long
procession of cars, motor cycles, jeeps from Moenjodaro
via Larkana to Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto where he offered Fateha
on the Mazar of the Shaheeds of Bhutto family as well other
Shaheeds.
Ayaz Soomro distributes offer letters for police jobs
Sindh Law Minister Mohammad Ayaz Soomro has said that PPP
has come to power after the great sacrifice of Shaheed Benazir
Bhutto and the commitment with the people will fulfilled
at any cost. This he said while speaking at a distribution
ceremony of appointment orders to police constables and
the candidates who succeeded on merit basis in Population
Welfare Department and Health Department at the Circuit
House here Saturday evening. The Minister said within a
short time of 5 to 6 months the present PPP government has
started providing job opportunities in different departments
to the people without any discrimination. He also distributed
Rs one lac each to three workers Imran Jatoi, Abid Laghari
and Mukhtiar Soho who were injured in Karsaz incident on
October 18, 2007. The Minister further said President Asif
Ali Zardari is working day and night for the welfare of
people of the country and he had also signed an agreement
with China recently. The Chinese Government will construct
a small dam in Larkana in order to promote agriculture in
upper Sindh area, the Law Minister said. He said any conspiracy
against the present democratic government will not be succeeded.
Mohammad Ayaz Soomro distributed 50 orders among the selected
candidated for police constables, and candidates who succeeded
on merit for jobs in Population, Health and Agriculture
Departments. He said the process of providing job opportunities
to the educated youth of Larkana District will continue
and hoped that every educated unemployed youth will be able
to get a job. On the occasion DCO Abdul Aziz Uqaili welcomed
the Minister and appreciated the efforts of the members
of the federal as well as provincial cabinets to focus Larkana
in providing job opportunities and development schemes for
the district’s people. On the occasion Mohammad Anwar
Bhutto, Khair Mohammad Shaikh, Ali Nawaz Jalbani, Aftab
Bhutto, Sardar Zafar Sangi, Khan Bahadur Abro, Ghulam Mustafa
Abro, Barkat Ali Shaikh Aijaz Laghari and a large number
of PPP workers were present.
