Police arrest son
of a local journalist, later release him |

KOTRI: A police party under leadership of Head Constable,
Shah Pasand Khoso on Sunday reportedly barged in a house of
the Vice President National Press Club Kotri, Khalid Hussain
Mahesar and arrested his youth son, Ishfaque Hussain. Later
on, the journalists of the National Press Club convened a
meeting after receiving information of the incident and strongly
condemned the act of the police and demanded of the authorities
to take immediate steps in the matter. Meanwhile, arrested
youth, Ishfaque Hussain has been released after the interference
of the journalists.
PLB celebrates
victory of Asif Ali Zardari
A jubilation rally was taken out by the Peoples Labor Bureau
from the Station Chowk to celebrate victory of Asif Ali Zardari
for being elected as President of the country. The rally was
led by Ghulam Hussain Mughal, Sajjad Laghari, Yousuf Barejo,
Khalid Hussain Mahar and others.
On the occasion, sweets were also distributed and prayers
were offered for the long and healthy life of President-elect,
Asif Ali Zardari. |
