  JI ‘train march’ from today against price hike & US strikes in Pakistan

HYDERABAD: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) is taking out a ‘train march’ to protest against ever increasing price hike and US strikes in Pakistan. The train march will start from Peshawar on Tuesday, October 07 and reach Karachi on October 15, 2008, said Asadullah Bhutto, Amir Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Sindh while addressing news conference here on Monday.
He was accompanied with Maulana Abdul Wahid Quyreshi, Dr Mumtaz Memon, Shaikh Shaukat Ali, Dr. Mairajud Huda and Mujahid Legahri. He said the people had given mandate to Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) because they hated the policies of General Mushraf but PPP government since its inception has done nothing to reduce the miseries of people.
He said that price hike was ever increasing and now poor could not get even one time meal. Nothing has been done to reduce unemployment, price hike. He said the PPP leadership has violated its own manifesto and rulers are spending national wealth on their personal luxuries.
He said the rulers were claiming that they hadrestored judges but the real judge is Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chowdhry, who was yet to be restored. He said it was irony that people were dying of hunger while government was considering to increase number of ministers.JI leader said that train march will enter Sindh on October 14 and stop at almost all main railway stations. He said JI Amir Qazi Hussain Ahmed will address rallies at Sukkur, Nawabshah, Hyderabad and Karachi railway stations. Asadullah Bhutto who is also president of All Parties Democratic Movement (APDM) said they have invited APDM workers and leaders to join their train march. He made appeal to people of Sindh to join their train march to express their solidarity with JI and tell the rulers that they had failed to provide relief to them.

distributes 35 offer orders to unemployed youth
The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Member of National Assembly (MNA) Syed Amir Ali Shah Jamote distributed 35 offer orders of Utility Store Cooperation to the unemployed youth of his constituency at his residence in Muslim Cooperative Society on Monday. Talking to the media men, Syed Amir Ali Shah said that the PPP government is filling it promises of ‘Kapra, Roti Aur Makan’. He further said that the government is providing the jobs to the unemployed youth on priority basis. Syed Amir Ali Shah Jamote said that the government is providing the houses to the poor people on Deh levels. He further said that the government has passed very short time and as time will pass government will take more steps for the welfare of people.

demanding bribe
A primary teacher namely, Razia Lghari, resident of Doctors Colony along with her daughter, Marvi Laghari while addressing a press conference at the Hyderabad Press Club said that her health condition of her husband namely, Qurban Laghari is not good in the the Central Jail Hyderabad, who is booked in the murder case of his brother for last two years but the administration of the Central Jail Hyderabad is allegedly asking her for bribe to shift her husband to the hospital.
On the occasion, she demanded of the concerned authorities to take the immediate notice of the matter.
