  Delegation of Larkana Chamber of Commerce calls on Yasir Junejo

LARKANA: Executive Committee of Larkana Chamber of Commerce and Industry held a meeting with Taluka Nazim Larkana Yasir Hussain Junejo at chamber office. The delegation of executive committee was led by Hafiz Muhammad Suleman Shaikh, President Larkana chamber commerce and industry.
On the occasion, Taluka Nazim Yasir Junejo was informed about the growing civic problems of Larkana city meanwhile 7 points were notified including shifted of Subzi Mandi, provision of plots for graveyard south and east, improvement of drainage system, cleanliness and lighting of city, plantation of tree on main roads and chowks, provision of fire brigade for each UC. Later Taluka Nazim vowed that lighting and sanitary work will be completed within 10 days. On the occasion, Haji Anwar Ali, Khair Muhammad, Muhammad Ismail Jatoi and others were also present.

Written test and interview qualified candidates for the constable post held a protest demonstration outside the press club Larkana for joining orders.
On the occasion, protestors including Iqdar Klachi, Liquat Hussain Chandio, Masood Kumbhar, Shifqat Agani, Haydar Unar and others while talking to media men said that in 2007 around 260
candidates had qualified for constable post, and only 106 candidates were given joining orders. The police administration said that rest of 154 candidates will be given joining orders in next phase. They said that yet they have not issued joining orders. The protestors appealed CM Sindh, Home Minister, IG Sindh, DIG, DPO Larkana to issue them their joining orders.
Restoration of
deceased quota

All Sindh Primary Teachers Association Larkana recorded a protest demonstration, observed token hunger strike outside the press club Larkana for restoration of deceased quota and teachers quota. The protest was joined by District President Muhammad Allam Khokhar, City President Anwar Ali Bhutto, Talab Mughal, Zulfiqar Abbasi, Ali Dino Chandio and hundreds of other teachers.
On the occasion, participants demanded of the government to stop political interferences in educational institutions and to restore quota of deceased teachers, otherwise they have threatened to continue their protest.

Thalassaemia
affected people
The Management & Trustees of Larkana Blood Bank & Thalassaemia centre held a media briefing regarding Larkana blood bank & Thalassaemia centre and Zakat Campaign at Larkana. On the occasion, Dr. Muhammad Naeem Chairman LBB said that LBB & TC are providing 24 hours service for facility of Larkana people. He said that patients of Thalassaemia disease are being treated free of cost, Larkana blood bank provides free of cost blood to Thalassaemia effected children.
Dr. Naeem said that there are 300 patients of Thalassaemia disease in our centers, who are being treated freely. He appealed to the people of all walks of life, Civil Society, Businessmen community, Traders and Larkana citizens to contribute to provide free treatment to Thalassaemia affected children. He urged upon people to contribute through their Zakat funds to save lives of children.
Armed men loot
Unidentified armed men barged at the house of Jameel Ahmed Shaikh at Murad Wahan Muhalla and looted gold, four cellular phones at gunpoint and managed to flee.
MS Larkana
hospital transferred
Medical Superintendent Larkana Syed Mehboob Shah has been transferred from Larkana and replaced by registrar radiology department Dr. Aurangzeb Siyal. While Ex-MS Syed Mehboob Shah has been ordered to report to health department Sindh Government.
