  Cheaters arrested, later released on bail

DADU: A private agent of National Bank Dadu and his companion took away Rs. 62, 000 of Naib Qasid of Local Government, however police arrested the cheaters, later on and released them on bail on Thursday. According to the details, a private agent of National Bank Dadu namely, Ghulam Mustafa Jatoi and his companion, Shahzado Oad cashed a cheque of 36 advance salaries of Naib Qasid of Local Government namely, Imdad Ali Mallah. Later on, Imdad Ali Mallah lodged FIR No. 407/08 under section of 420 against Ghulam Mustafa Jatoi and Shahzado Oad and after registering the FIR police arrested both nominated persons and later released them on bail. Meanwhile, the Regional Director of Larkana took the immediate notice of the matter and ordered an inquiry.
Growers of Dadu protest against acute irrigation water shortage
The growers of Dadu held a protest demonstration against the acute irrigation water shortage outside the National Press Club Dadu on Thursday.
Addressing on the occasion, the leaders including, Masih-uz-Zaman Panhwar, Abdul Jabar Malik, Mola Bux Laghari, Shamsuddin, Mehar Gadihi and others said their agriculture lands have become barren due to acute irrigation water shortage in Pir Ghanio, Jagir, Pahore and Patoro branches.
On the occasion, they demanded of the concerned authorities to take immediate notice of the matter.
Arrest of killers sought
The journalists of Dadu continued their protest demonstration for the arrest of killers of Azeem Laghari outside the Dadu Press Club on Thursday.
Addressing on the occasion, the leaders including, Gulan Bhand, Nizam Shaikh, Sarwar Jalal Solangi, Sardar Charan, Saeed Sindhi and others demanded of the concerned authorities for the immediate arrest of killers of Azeem Laghari, otherwise, they threatened to enlarge their protest level.
