ISLAMABAD: The International Red Cross Committee has declared
Pakistan a “New war zone” of the world.
The spokesman to committee Markososi said in an interview
to a US newspaper in Islamabad that Pakistan was the “new
war zone” of the world then. He is on an special assignment
here with Pakistani surgical team. The newspaper further went
on to quote him saying that besides recent wave of fierce
bomb blasts across country and full fledge clashes in the
restive northern Pakistan testify that Pakistan is an entirely
a new war zone of world. The newspaper cited that more than
0.2 million people have migrated from war-torn areas in Pakistan
and over thousands of people have lost their lives in clashes
