ISLAMABAD: State Minister on Finance and Economic Affairs Hina Rabbani Khar on Friday made it clear that upsurge in the petroleum products was decided by the Parliament through the finance bill adding no summary whatsoever was sent to Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani.
In a quick chat with host of journalists on Friday, State Minister on Finance and Economic Affairs Hina Rabbani Khar said that government is taking gigantic steps to provide optimum relief to masses stressing we are monitoring methodically oil prices in international market thus increased or decrease will be made accordingly.
State Minister on Finance and Economic Affairs Hina Rabbani Khar said that government want to lessen the burden on poor segments of the society hence asked all transporters not to increase fares. In a question, she made it clear that increase in the petroleum products was decided through Finance Bill in the Parliament urging no summary whatsoever was sent to Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani.
