Karachi: An activist of a nationalist party
was gunned down at Shahnawaz Shar Goth with in the limits
of Sachal Police station limits, here on Friday.

Narejo said the victim belonged to Jeay Sindh party, adding
the incident took place late Thursday night when unidentified
suspects opened fire on him outside his house.
He said according to the family the victim was trying to
restore electricity of his home during a power outage, when
unidentified snipers reached there and opened fire on him
before fleeing. He was rushed to the Jinnah Post-graduate
Medical Center (JPMC) where the doctor pronounced him death
before reaching hospital. The Sachal police registered the
case and started further probe. On Friday there was a complete
shutter down in Shar Goth, Sachal Goth and surrounding localities
against the killing.
Security guard gunned down over old enmity
Karachi: A security guard of a local factory was gunned
down over old enmity at Sector 17 within the limits of Korangi
Industrial Area Police station here on Saturday. The victim
was identified as Shamil Khan, 35 S/o Abdul Baqi. He hailed
from NWFP. The duty officer of the KIA police station said
the victim was a security guard of Mina Leather Company
situated at Sector 17, Bilal Colony Korangi.
The incident took place at around 1 pm noon when he and
his two companions were coming to mill in a cab. He said
when they reached to the Bilal Colony Chowrangi, three unidentified
suspects opened fire on him.
The victim sustained several bullets injuries and immediately
shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center for treatment
where he succumbed to his injuries. However, the duty officer
described the murder a target killing. He said both victim
belonged and attackers belonged to NWFP and suspects did
not touch his two companions. He said the snipers had reached
there on three motorcycles.
No FIR could be registered till the time of filing this
