  Dr. Mirza announces financial aid for two deceased policemen

BADIN: Sindh Home and Forest Minster, Dr. Zulfiqar Mirza announced Rs. 50, 000 aid for each deceased policemen namely Zulfiqar Ali Bhurgari and Khero Rabari, who died in a road accident near Tando Bago two months ago. Dr. Zulfiqar Mirza has handed over that amount to DPO Badin. Later on, Dr. Zulfiqar Mirza announced Rs. 100, 000 for Matli Police for their outstanding performance and said that the children of policemen will be appointed in the police department on priority basis.
Police arrest two kidnappers
The Matli Police arrested two nominated kidnappers on Monday. According to the details, the DPO Badin, Fida Hussain Mastoi while talking to the journalists said that the Matli Police under the leadership of TPO Matli, Khalid Rustamani conducted raid at Village, Karam Khan Nizamani and arrested two nominated kidnappers including, Lakhi and Hajan, who were involved in the kidnapping of Haji Zanur. DPO Badin further said that both arrested persons belong to a big gang and they are involved in the kidnapping, looting and other cases.
Paramedics stage rally in favour of their demands
A number of employees under banner of All Pakistan Paramedical Association Monday staged a protest rally from EDO Health Office to local press club to press for their demands of employees’ quota and service structure. The protestors, led by Riyaz Qadri, Allahdino, Ghulam Mustafa Junejo, observed a sit-in outside press club, raising slogans in favor of their demands.
DO Badin pays
surprise visit to markets
District Officer Revenue Jawad Akram paid a surprise visit to main markets in Badin and checked prices of essential commodities.
The DO along with Mukhtiarkar and police officers visited meat and vegetable markets and directed traders to sell essential commodities at fixed prices during the month of Ramazan. He asked traders to end profiteering, hoarding and overcharging of commodities so that people could pass the holy month peacefully. He directed shopkeepers to display the price list of meat, vegetables, fruit and other commodities, which would be issued daily by the Price Control Committee.
