  42nd Foundation Day of PPP celebrated in Larkana

LARKANA: 42nd Foundation Day of Pakistan Peoples Party was celebrated at Abbasi House Waleed Muhalla on Sunday.
The program was hosted by Haji Munawar Ali Abbasi which was attended by many PPP leaders including, Abdul Razaque Soomro, former MNA, Muhammad Anwar Bhutto, Vice Pr4esident of PPP district Larkana, Khair Muhammad Shaikh, Mazhar Ali Tunio and others.
Addressing on the occasion, MPA, Haji Munawar Ali Abbasi said that PPP is only party of Pakistan which struggles for rights of poor people. He added that our party believes in democracy and rule of law not in a political confrontation. Munwar Abbasi paid rich tributes to Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto who laid foundation of PPP and gave political ideology. Later, the great leader of world Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto continued mission of her father and sacrificed her life for the sack of restoration of democracy. He said that left mission of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto would be accomplished at any cost.
Khalid Mehmood Soomro for increase in paddy rates
The General Secretary of JUI Sindh, Senator Dr. Khalid Mehmood Soomro has said that rate of paddy and cotton are very low due to unfair prices of paddy and cotton growers and farmers are facing many problems.
He appealed to the President, Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister of Pakistan, Syed Yousif Raza Gillani and Chief Minister Sindh, Syed Qaim Ali Shah to increase rates of paddy and cotton. Senator said that the farmers are disappointed owing to wrong policies of rulers. He said that he would raise voice in a forth coming session of senate and record his protest regarding the low rates of crops.
Issuance of offer
orders demanded
The IBA Test Passed Action Committee of district Larkana and
Qamber-Shahdadkot staged a protest demonstration and observed hunger strike outside the Press Club Larkana on Sunday for the issuance of offer letters.
Addressing on the occasion, the leaders including, Eisa Memon, Riaz Detho, Masood Memon, Khaliq Dino Kalhoro and others said that they had passed IBA test and secured 40 percent marks but they have been deprived of offer orders. They added that the Education Minister, Pir Mazhar-ul-Haq is pretending us to reappear for next test which is injustice with IBA test passed candidates. They demanded from the high-ups to take immediate measures in the matter, otherwise they threatened to accelerate their protest level.
People of UC Drib are being neglected: lady Councilor
A lady Councilor of Mirokhan Mrs. Zaib-un-Nisa while talking to newsmen on Sunday said that the educated youths of UC Drib Chandia Khan has been neglected even in third term of appointments in Police Department. She said that there are thousands of unemployed educated youths in UC Drib Chandia Khan Taluka Mirokhan, but they have been deprived of their rights. She further said, this UC is counted in a backward area, where no basic facility is available, she appealed to government to provide Zakat and Baitul Maal funds to poor and to solve the problems of the people of concerned UC.
